Thumbs up Clarkson beats Princeton 3-2

Well it wasnt a pretty game, but the Knights stepped it up when it counted and came out on top. Chippy game with some punches thrown after the final buzzer so we'll have to wait and see if anything comes of that.
On the positive side:
1) Goaltending was better, but the goalie is only as good as the players in front of him, and they failed to move the man out of the slot all night long. One of the Tiger goals was a screen shot that Walsh had no chance of even seeing.
2) The freshman continue to contribute to the overall succes of the team
3) Congrats to Ian on his first goal of the season

On the negative side:
1) Defense needs to clear the slot so the goalie can see
2) Stupid undisciplined penalties, enough said
3) Passing tonight was bad

The last score update I saw was that Yale was beating SLU 2-0 so it should be a good contest Sat night. Hopefully the Knights we all know and love show up and prove we are the team to beat in the ECAC.
Lets go tech, weekend ECAC sweep!

O'Flaherty and ET were given fighting DQ's and will be ineligible toknight. Dumb and dumber with all the injuries. This really hurts.

I figured something would come of that end of the game scuffle. It doesnt look good when two of our 4 captains are ineligible to play because of fighting misconducts. With Desrochers and McFeeters still out we have a short bench and some players are going to have step it up tonight if we want to win. I think it is likely that we'll see Gasper and Garceau in the lineup tonight to fill those gaps. If the Knights play disciplined, I think they can still win tonight, but they are going to have to want it.

Exclamation Footage of the end fight

Hey everyone.

WCKN has posted a clip from the game that was not broadcast. it is a clip from the fight that resulted in the suspension of the players. Check it out for yourself.

www.wckn.com

then click on programming, then "more info" under hockey.

The clip was encoded with the Divx codec, so you may need to download that too.
