Clarkson @ Harvard 11/29/03

The feed is up.

The Knights look to rebound from last night. Harvard looks for the sweep.

Faceoff, and the game is underway.

Sounds like a good Clarkson contingent is at the game. I know Ron and Co. is there.

LGT!

0-0

Traylen in net for Clarkson and Grumet-Morris for Harvard.

2 mins into the first, and play is even.

Kolarik gets a chance but can't connect at the 4 min mark.

Mike Nagai gets called for holding and Harvard goes on it's first powerplay of the night.

And now Breklemans gets called for a penalty by the linesman.

Harvard going on the 5 on 3.

Same old, same old for the Knights.

Traylen getting peppered on the 5 on 3.

5 on 3 ends, one more to kill. Clarkson kills off the 5 on 4.

And Harvard gets called for a slash.

Knights on the PP.

Lush, Kolu, Derochers on the first PP line.

10-11-12 line for the 2nd PP line.

Traylen stops Packard on a shorthanded chance, Gromet-Morris stops Edwards on the other end.

Harvard kills the PP.

11:20 to go in the 1st.

LaTulippe is robbed by Morris on a rebound off a Grezny shot.

9:54 to go in the 1st.

Knights picking up the tempo, and working for the rebounds.

Penalty coming up on Harvard

Interferance

Knights back on the PP (0-1)

1-0 Tech

Blight (8) from Nickerson and Faulkner

Powerplay is sounding sharp.

4th line on the ice and winning the battles in the corners. That line gets stronger every game.

Brown is the team to beat so far this year as they are up 3 - 0 on SLU in the first.

2:44 left in the 1st and Clarkson has been dominant.

1 min left in the period.

Blight takes a slapshot and is stopped by G-M.

Icing called with 17 seconds left in the first. Harvard could not get the shot away.

Grenzy gets a chance at the horn.

Great period by Traylen and the rest of the Knights.

1-0 Tech at the end of 1.

Clarkson Alum Dan Fisher is the 1st intermission interview. Dan ('01) is the SID for UMass Lowell.

On a side note, Harvard's band is not good.

Oh what a knight....

It sounds like a most determined Golden Knight team on the ice this evening. Only one real penalty called against Mike Nagai, but that was followed by a bench minor. So the Golden Knights expertly killed a two-man advantage for about 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Congratulations to Chris Blight on his power play goal at 11:34 of the first period. And congratulations to Matt Nickerson and Matt Faulkner for their assists. Special congratulations to Matt Nickerson for not getting any penalties called against him during the entire first period. Keep up that good work ethic, Matt.

MORE GOALS, PLEASE, CLARKSON.

I hope we don't sound that bad when we play!
