Hockeydb.com has Don Smith playing with the Elmira Jackals (don't see him on their roster page though), and Zach playing 1 game with the Adirondack team.

Carl Drakensjo is also playing with Elmira.

Don got out of the Carolina farm system due to it's merger with the Calgary system. He felt that he wouldn't be noticed with all of the faces in teh crowd from both teams. He went to Elmira to be closer to home and hopefully to be noticed by the Amerks of the AHL.

Congrats to Don for obtaining his MBA from Clarkson this past spring.

Quote:
Forward Don Smith, the 2003-04 Star-Gazette Elmira Jackals co-Player of the Year, received his master's in business administration this spring from Clarkson University. But don't look for him back out on the ice anytime soon.

"Definitely not," Smith, 26, said by phone last week. "I enjoyed hockey, but it's time to do something else, and I'm excited about (that)."

Smith, who recently returned from an international business seminar in Europe, said he's looking for a position in real estate investment or finance.

"I missed hockey a lot this year," he said. "It's definitely tough to walk away from, but I'm also happy with the decision I made."
