Take it easy. They won't lose many. SLU played an excellent first game of the season, and their fourth line beat Clarkson's. Clarkson's first line is going to kill a lot of teams before the season's over.

Since I don't get ESPNU, I decided to go to the game and got standing room tickets. However, we were right next to the SLU women's team. I must've yelled out T after their SLU about 50 times. SLU played a good game and they should be a national contender once again this year. Can't wait till Friday against UMass, it'll be good to beat those guys. LET'S GO TECH!

I also went to the game it was a great game. Both Clarkson & SLU did a really good job tonight. I'm a big SLU fan so I was happy how it tured out in the end. But Clarkson could of won tonight also it was a really good game and both theams did a really good job. it's really hard to tell this early in the season but if they both play like they did tonight then they both will make it a long ways this season.

Not a very impressive beginning to the hockey season for the Clarkson Golden Knights yesterday. We knew we would miss Shawn Weller's dynamic presence on the ice this season. Even though Shawn was actually at Appleton Arena yesterday, he is currently a member of the Binghamton Senators. The Golden Knights struggled yesterday and did not seem to play well together as a team....nor did they play their best game for an entire sixty minutes. It seemed to me that SLU really wanted to win this game, and they played accordingly.

Congratulations to Nick Dodge on his goal and to Scott Freeman (who now wears Shawn's former number 9) on his assist. Matt Beca worked hard to score Clarkson's second goal, with assists given to Tim Marks and Steve Zalewski.

I have a lot of faith in our hard-working coaches, and the Golden Knights will just have to pick up the pieces and move forward with improvement to this weekend's games against U-Mass and Providence. Practices this week at Cheel should be demanding.

ON TO TWO VICTORIES THIS WEEKEND, CLARKSON GOLDEN KNIGHTS.

Paquet is injured, not sure when he will return to the lineup.

Phil Paquet was at the game in Canton yesterday, dressed in a suit. I hope he will begin skating this week, as he recovers from an injury, which was to his knee I believe. Phil was also missed in Clarkson's lineup yesterday.

OPTIMISM IS THE FAITH THAT LEADS TO ACHIEVEMENT......LET'S GO TECHERS.
