Kyle McNulty: Made 55 saves on 60 shots, including a career-high 37 stops in Friday’s game at 7th-ranked UNH. McNulty was named to this week’s ECAC Honor Roll

What does everyone think? Will coach put Dustin Traylen back between the pipes next weekend or will Kyle McNulty be given another chance?

No matter who the coaching staff choses, unless the offense perks up they are gonna have to pitch a shutout to guarantee a win and even then it would not surprise me if the games ended up 0-0. Nice to know Traylen is not the only body we have at goal. Maybe it will make him work harder and rethink his penchant for breaking team rules. My guess is McNulty gets the start Friday Knight and it's his job to lose right now.

I agree with you Vic!

I know someone had posted this comment previously, but I don't understand how you can go to school on scholarship and not go to class or break team rules. What were these boys thinking? (Obviously they weren't!!)

I think McNulty should get the start next week! He has proven that he deserves the spot. He reminds me a lot of Mike Nagai and Joe Carosa. He gives everything he's got while he's out on the ice and this past weekends games proved that.

And as far as offense, if we don't get a spark sooner rather than later...this is going to be a VERY long season.

Here's hoping for 2 W's next weekend and better luck in the new year!!

Speed in Zone
Dustin R. Traylen, 6/5/1981
[Address Removed]
Defendant was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for the above charge after an officer observed the defendant operating a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed on Sandstone Drive. Vehicle speed confirmed by radar at 48 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone. Defendant will appear in Village Court on 12/8/2004.

Perhaps this is why he "violated team rules". Team rules...the law...eh, whats the difference. Actually now that I think of it, 48 in a 30? Come on Dustin. You can do better than that!

Perhaps this is why he "violated team rules".

I also saw that in the Integrator. Given this happened on 11/20 and that Genovy was also left home I doubt whether this was the team rules violation. Anyway what's done is done and they have paid the price. Hope it happens no more.

Why would someone post something like that?

It may be posted in some hometown paper in Kirkland, but what purpose does it serve posting it here or in the Integrator?

It's not the reason he stayed home.

I am worried that the person who looked up that bit of information may have too much time on their hands. I advise counseling because you might be a little stalker-like. I am not a doctor, but I played one on tv. Ohh, and I also stayed in a Holiday Inn last night.

Quit surfing the web and get out of your cave.

Delete that junk.

JMO

The Integrator publishes each week an e-edition to those who subscribe for free. One of the sections is the Potsdam Police Blotter. It sometimes makes for very interesting reading.

There have been 3 instances in the past year where a current or former CCT player has made the Blotter. One was spinning his tires in the townhouses parking lot after the SLU win last season. The other was an alumni DUI, and this one.

All in all nothing extraordinary. I don't know how many of us have run afoul of the PPD, but this is just another instance.

Vic said it right -- the enforced vacation happend 2 weeks after the oopsie. I doubt this had anything to do with it.

Yeah, this wasnt a matter of searching for it. I just happened to get the alumni email and clicked on the police blotter to make sure the current clarkson kids were up to the same no good I was in college :). I saw dustins name and thought it might have something to do with his violation of team rules. Definatly no stalking!

Regardless, i am suprised a speeding ticket (less than 20 over no less) made it into the police blotter. Shows how busy they are these days.

regardless of where you got it, posting someone's address in a hockey forum when it has absolutley nothing to do with his hockey-playing abilities is completely irresponsible. this forum should be to discuss what they do on the ice, not what they do off it.

Bingo!!!!!! You hit the nail right on the head.

Now, on to this weekend's games. I bet we play with a ton of spirit this weekend. (Spirit...I sound like a cheerleader, no offense to any cheerleaders out there)
