Absolutely ridiculous amount of penalties being called! I hate this move away from physical play.
Another Prov. goal
2-0 Prov.
Officials are pretty bad according to Josh. 2nd goal was off a high stick.

http://icg.clarkson.edu for the web feed.
Josh is fuming over the penalty calls. And I agree completly.
Clarkson on the PP. And now its over.

Clarkson generates some momentum only to have it taken away on a high sticking penalty.
McCleary goes for the hat trick and Traylen matches. Good save.
Under 4 to play in the 1st.
Mike Sullivan SCORES!!
2-1 with 2:13 left in the first.

Hey Mike, ready for another year? :)
I've been listening, but also making some dinner, and trying to keep some dogs at bay. Yeah, lots of the holding and interference penalties that the NC$$ said they were going to enforce. Doesn't make for the cleanest most exciting hockey. But I guess its here to stay. Until the playoffs at least.

Brett, I'm ready for another year! Nice for the season to finally start! Only so much obscure information from the web that I could post.
Chuck - my feed is horrible as well. But I thought that was because it was delivered to south of the Mason-Dixon.

Josh said in pre-game that it is one class in high school that isnt up to NCAA standards. Clarkson will appeal this descion. Other than that Weller's grades are up to snuff as are his SAT's. Just one class standing in the way.
My feed is fine. Sorry to you southerners... :D

Back to a 2 goal lead.
Just under 5 to go.

Just over 3 to play in the 2nd.
David Ortiz just homered in the bottom of the 10th to give the Sox the sweep. Hence the happy Providence students.
Under 1 to play in the 2nd.

Anybody up for the buffet at Ponderosa?
No.
With a young team like this, and this many penalties, losing legs is not a big surprise.
Still need a goal soon.

Under 7 to play.
Clarkson with a power play chance, however it goes unconverted.
Under 4 to play.
Another penalty on the Friars.
Clarkson generating some late chances, but can't finish.
Under 2.
Traylen out of the net.
And LaTulippe takes a slashing call. D'oh. Bad penalty.
This game has been a farce. Another penalty called on the Friars. I think thats the 30th combined penalty.
Dare I say Travishamockery?
Time out Clarskon

Don't know how to feel about this one.
- Obviously one week of practice wasn't enough. But Providence didn't play well either.
- Apparently the NCAA was serious about calling more penalties. This should be an area of focus for the Knights.
- The Wastestream Post Game show is appropriately named tonight. :( :D
Goal Scorers
M. Sullivan (1) from Faulkner and Blight
