PP - no good chances except for one shot by O'Flaherty

1:40 to go in the first period - Clarke backhand and knocked away by Walsh into the corner

Tigers 2 for 3 on power play last Knight and PP killed last knight was only :28.

Only two penalties in the period and both are indicated above.
More attempts on net tonight than last night already. Only a total of 15 shots last night. Already, 2/3rds of the way there tonight. CC is pretty much on the same pace as last night with shots.

O'Flaherty loses faceoff and shot on net and Walsh gets a pad on it. Another shot by Tigers....sounded really close as Clarke doesn't sink the putt. Puck is too high and Clarke could not get the wood on it. Knights dodge a bullet.
Teams are now even strength.

Knights win faceoff now 2 on 2 back toward Walsh. Taken away by Knights. O'Flaherty chips it into Tiger zone. Poapst gets it out in front. No shot.

Penalty on Tigers
Clarkson passing a lot on the boards and not tape to tape passes, according to announcers.
Knights lose the faceoff and Poapst chases it down.
Tigers back at full strength. A couple of good shots by Reid.
Stuart a wrist shot and Walsh makes a save.

Stuart and Carosa collide and Stuart is shaken up. A short scuffle ensues. Colorado really takes exception to the collision.
Faceoff. Then penalty against the Knights for slashing. Colorado PP for the next 2
Clarkson has not had a short-handed goal in two years.
Bahen clears the puck. Now Sejna gets it back in. 4 shots. Walsh makes a tremendous save. Another shot. Colorado gets a penalty - Heerema two minutes for slashing. Just as Clarkson clears the puck. 4 on 4 for 1:04. Last night Tigers scored on the 4 on 4.
Lush rolls it across the crease and no one there. Save by Walsh. Clarke looking for rebound out front but Walsh locks it up.

Jones puts it out in front. SHOT...NO GOAL. Puck out in front for McFeeters, puck moving well and puck is kept in zone.
Colorado back at full strength. Some good chances for the Knights.
Noah Clarke shot of the faceoff and Walsh locks it up.

Tigers immediately get another good shot.
E-T gets a good shot. Another good shot by Lush and looks for rebound but Sanger covers.
Sejna shot and up and over the boards. Faceoff in Clarkson zone. Kim a shot and Walsh the save.

Poapst a backhand shot and it goes over the goal. whistle. Penalty - correction penalties - matching minors. 4:26 left in 2nd.
Poapst for CU and i don't know for CC.
Bahen in. goes for a rebound but no dice. Bahen backchecking.
Glove save made by Sanger off of E-T shot. whistle
Faceoff to left of Sanger - SOG 16 for Clarkson
Noah Clarke hits post and almost another goal for CC.
O'Flaherty takes shot but no dice.
Both teams back at full strength. 2:21 left in the 2nd.
Latulippe puts it through crease, but no one there.
CC attacking 2 on 2 and stick save made by Walsh. Knights go back and save by Sanger and he hold on. 1:16 remaining.
Faceoff won by o'flaherty and passes out front...no good

Faceoff beside Walsh. Knights win the faceoff.
15:20 to go. Play is back and forth. Sounds fairly even in third. Much different than last Knight.
14:26 to go in Third. Penalty against the Knights. O'Flaherty - Tripping.
Tigers PP - Poapst clears it out 1:40 to go in penalty. Shot and pad save by Walsh. Shot blocked down. Shot directed away from the net. Clarkson clears but it bounces off a Clarkson player on the bench. Faceoff to the right of Mike Walsh. Walsh with 25 saves so far tonight. Shot of Faceoff. :45 to go on kill. three more shots. Carosa backhand down the ice....:20 left in kill. Wristed at goal and a few feet over net. Clarkson back even.

Clarke takes a check from Poapst and a big crowd reaction. Shot by Poapst and Sanger saves. Tigers move back up. Penalty against Colorado. Edwards was tripped.

Knights having no flow in the PP. Just passing along the board and not able to relax and look for each other at all....(all from the announcers)

changed over to CC internet feed because Clarkson feed seems to be dumping me a good bit.

Announcer says "(this is a) pesky Clarkson team that is going to make a lot of noise in the ECAC before the year is over." Thanks for the complement.:confused:
Colorado has not cut out on my yet. Still don't know if it is my computer or line or if it is the ICG feed.

Poapst and Heerema are going at it. Walsh leaves the ice for the delayed penalty. Looks like it is going to coincidental minors. Faceoff will be just outside the Tiger.
Tigers get a double minor. PP for Clarkson 1:21 left in Period.
Walsh tries to leave but CC wacks it back down. Shot and then swept away. CC get a chance but E-T holds it back. :20 left. Back in CU end :07.
Game over. Colorado College Tigers 3 - Clarkson University Golden Knights 0.
On to Northeastern next weekend. Score looks better tonight, but it didn't sound like as many good scoring chances for the Knights.
I'll give shots on net when they give them.

no goals on Power Plays tonight for either team.
Tiger coach gives Clarkson Knights a lot of credit and says "Clarkson is a great team. They came and threw a lot at us early and we were able to persevere."
Announcer trying to get a spear or a buttend out of the collision in the center. Tiger coach will watch it on tape and is "very interested to see if there was an elbow involved. I thought I saw an elbow but our player had his head down and sometimes you get nailed when your head is down." (not exact quote) "Gave up one goal against a good team...a ranked team...."

- "we expected them to come out hard tonight and they did in the first ten, fifteen minutes"
