All,

Last night, I upgraded the Roundtable to the new vBulletin 3 software. As some user defaults (among other things) may have changed in the upgrade, please let me know if anything is broken, or isn't as you expect.

Scott, nice upgrade!

I notice when I login to the board, that the thread display defaults to "linear, newest first", which is the way I prefer it. If I do not login, the thread display defaults to "linear, oldest first". Under thread display options, there is only one linear display option, but the "FAQs" state that it can be selected to "oldest first" or "newest first". Where can I change this default? I'm sure it can be done, I'm just not sharp enough to find it yet!

Thanks!

Guests (those not logged in) can't change the thread display order because there's no way to keep track of the settings for individual guests. I'll flip that flag in the system configuration, and see if the vBulletin folks can clarify that in the FAQs (I didn't write those, they came with the software).

I'd preferr a green and gold background :) to this blue one but other than that everything is Okey Dokey.

Yeah Scott - Pretty sweet upgrade. I agree- if we can do some kind of upgrade on the color scheme- that'd be awesome. Check out the Clarkson Pep Band Alumni Forum on Yahoo to see our color scheme: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/clarksonpepbandalumni/

I'm all for new versions- so nice job!

Looks like it's time for me to dust off my copies of Dreamweaver & Photoshop :D

I tried to change the colors a long time ago but got too busy. vBulletin 2's template scheme wasn't the easiest thing to deal with. Perhaps that's changed with the new version :)
