Well, let's begin with the Friday pre-game warmup at Lynah. Some of those pathetic psychopaths at cornell started throwing things at Matt Nickerson; they were presumably pucks. Matt told the referees, and those folks were ejected before the game even began. This is just another indication of the intelligence of some cornell fans.

In the 16th minute of play during Period 3, Matt earned an assist on Jay Latulippe's, and Clarkson's only game of the goal.

Shortly thereafter, a practically unknown cornell goon, paul varteressian, began a fight with Matt. After a few punches, which Matt did not retaliate against, the encounter was over. The loser, paul varteressian, was given seven minutes of punishment, and a game disqualification. Matt, on the other hand, received a total of four minutes for roughing, and nothing else.

The true winner: Matt who will play toknight.
The true loser: paul who won't.

I attempted to listen and watch the webcast from cornell....but only for a short time. Their announcers were as derogatory as their fans. One of them actually referred to Matt as a "knucklehead". In the background, cornell fans continued to illustrate their true intelligence: one imbecile would holler, "Clarkson" which was followed by a multitude of imbeciles screaming, "Sucks". In addition, the alternate chant was "RPI rejects. The mere mutterings of morons......it's no wonder cornell and its fans are so poorly thought of.

Ever since Clarkson lost to SLU on January 24, Matt Nickerson has improved his style of play. He has received eleven two-minute penalties in ten games....and no major penalties. Although Matt admits there is still some room for improvement, he and the coaches have been concentrating on Matt staying away from unnecessary penalties. No more undisciplined and stupid penalties for this just barely 19-year old Clarkson Golden Knight...or so he says. Our contention is the other ECAC teams are just plain jealous that Matt plays for Clarkson.

I expect a much better game from the Clarkson Golden Knights toknight.

KNOW NO LIMITS, CLARKSON GOLDEN KNIGHTS, BEAT CORNELL.

Matt recieved 5 minor penalties... but all of them were matched my Cornell, and as you stated one resulted in a major and an ejection for Cornell.

Good Job Matt!!
