just saw an article about the miracle on ice movie and a hockey player from suny potsdam has a role. Eric Peter-Kaiser plays mark johnson.

I think something like 4000 people tried out for a spot on the team and a student from Potsdam got it!

Just watched end of the third period of the 1980 Olympic Game on Classic ESPN. You can't help but be moved by the incredible spirit of the team.

Apparently after the win, a Soviet submarine sent a message of congratulations to an America submarine that was in "silent mode" or something. What history!

February 22 is the 24-year anniversary so maybe they will show the game again. Its amazing how far hockey has come since then, especially those goalie masks!

I wish I had known that the game was on TV seeing as how I wasn't alive when the game was played. I do plan on seeing the movie though next week over break when I am home. Maybe if I am lucky they will rebroadcast the game later in the month like you said.
