Things dont get any easier on the upcoming non conference stretch:

UNH - #4 in the country and just got off a gritty win against RPI

UMass Lowell - Picking up national credit and coming off a win against UNH

Providence - Was hot to start the season but has fallen off. Still a tough team in Hockey Least.

ST Cloud / Harvard - SCSU started hot but fell to a hotter RPI squad. Clarkson doesnt have much luck against the WCHA. Harvard would want some revenge in a non conference affair at the Donut Invitational.

Mercyhurst (x2) - Tied Cornell tonight on a 6x5 goal with 5 seconds to play, despite being outplayed much of the game.

Clarkson is going to have to dig deep and find some goals to pull a .500 mark through these next 6 games.

UNH - we are not the favorites

UMass Lowell - winnable game

Providence - Bobby Geopfert is one of the best goaltenders in college hockey. Tough game.

ST Cloud / Harvard - SCSU lost 2 close ones to RPI. They would not like to go 0-3 or 0-4 vs. the ECAC. Tough game. Harvard will be interesting

Mercyhurst (x2) - Atlantic Hockey is getting better and better. These are not easy games.

Split this weekend. I always predict splits in tournaments and I think we can take 2 from Mercyhurst.

4 wins and 2 losses.

Looks like things got physical between RPI and UNH. I don't think we can handle that many penalties against a more skilled team. This will be a test to see how Roll has preached discipline to these guys. I'd hate to see UNH get too many power plays and just bury us.

I agree with Brett. Gotta stay out of the box against UNH. Tryalen has to be sharp like he was against Hahvad. I wonder if McNulty will get the start against Lowell to give him some experience.

I'm thinking about going up to Providence for the Tourney. Anyone know where the team will be staying?

Let me know where your seats are and I will stop by. I'm not gonna buy any tickets until I get to Providence. I don't figure this thing will be anywhere near a sell out.

I'm planning on being there for Sundays' games. I'm going the same route a vic and buying my tickets at the door. Hope to see some fellow roundtablers there.
