Finally, a little conference action will start up this weekend. There are just a few games, but some notable ones:
(1)Many ranked Harvard #1 and Brown #12. Though it won't be a power struggle, what if the Bears come out on top. How does this affect a Harvard team mentally?
Shocking pick of the week......Brown 4 - Harvard 3
(2) The rivals start up early this year with St. Lawrence at Clarkson. Saints are consistently ranked lower than the Knights, but this is no doubt, the most exciting game of the year for me.
Changing from an earlier guess....Clarkson 5 - St. Lawrence 2
(3) Harvard and Dartmouth. With both teams trading many first place rankings in different polls and pick the standings contests, how will it go? Harvard who is said to have "no trouble scoring" against a goaltending crew that has started asleep in the exhibition games against Moncton. This will be interesting. Many say Dartmouth netminding will step up quickly and stand firm. Me, I say Harvard 4 - Dartmouth 2. (Three goals will come when Byrne is not on the ice.) Harvards shocking loss the night before will propel them.
