Dave Evans is currently playing for the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL. He has been actively involved in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society throughout the 2002-2003 season. He obtained from a personal friend on the hurricanes (Erik Cole anyone?) a hurricanes home jersey signed by Rod Brind'Amor, Sean Hill, and Jeff O'neill as well as rising stars such as Eric Cole, Jesse Boulerice, David Tanabe, and Ryan Bayda and many other hurricane players.
