White in Playoffs

Todd White had 2 goals, including the game winner in 2OT last night against the Islanders. Way to go Todd! Ottawa now has a 2-1 lead in the series. Who said this guy was too small to play in the NHL? I bet Chicago would LOVE to have him back now. I hope they got alot of use out of that bag of pucks!

I happened to tune in just in time to catch the second OT...a sweet deflection by Whitey. The Icelanders announcers raved about his play, especially his performance on winning faceoffs last nite.

FSNY's Deb Kaufman interviewed Todd on the post game and he spoke well about the game and his goals.

Actually, it was Bobby Clarke who got a proverbial bag of pucks for Todd 2 yrs ago...maybe he'll get to say "hello and thank you " again to Clarkie in the next round...or maybe not if Philly flames out. I think Chicago got zippo for Todd...I believe they released him....not positive.

I'm hoping for a Devils-Ottawa Eastern Conf final. I'll take out a loan to see a game here in Jersey!

Just wanted to give props to Todd and the Sens for advancing. Got to watch the last game and caught parts of the others. It's really exciting having another Techer back in the conference finals. He's kind of like the quiet, underrated guy people don't really notice until he makes a clutch goal or play. He's been working really hard and has been playing great. Let's hope they can humble Marty and dump those rotten Devils. Can we use the "New Jersey" chant for them???

Yep....as usual, Todd was in the right place at the right time...he's a very heady player, but then all Techers know that, eh?

I think it's great that someone noticed Whitey nailing big bad Scott Stevens...the latter loves to dish out high, hard, and often cheap hits, but he gets all ticked off when anyone dares hit him. Imagine "little" Todd, all 5 9, 180 (maybe) of him, having the audacity to hit the bully! :D As we already know, Whitey plays BIG for his size!

Just a little update on the Whitey-watch:
Congrats to Todd and the Sens for pulling out a 3-1 win last night to keep their Cup hopes alive!! It was a great game. Todd scored the first goal, a shorty. The announcers kept saying how he was having "a tremendous game" last night. Keep up the hard work, guys!! LGT! wooo!
