Yeah good idea, sue Clarkson cuz your kid died. What a stupid thing to do. Thanks ma'am.

Article (http://www.newsday.com/news/local/wire/ny-bc-ny-brf--college-lawsu0113jan13,0,2021426.story?coll=ny%2Dap%2Dregi onal%2Dwire)

Why don't you sue the doctor that delivered the driver? Or the high school that he went to? Or DOT for making the road unsafe? Or sue Mother Nature and/or God for creating the laws of physics? SUING WILL NOT GET YOUR SON BACK! IT WILL ONLY DEPRIVE DESERVING STUDENTS OF THE GREAT EDUCATION THAT CLARKSON PROVIDES!!!

Sorry, I can't help but rant. I get so sick of this sue happy society. Help yourself to blasting me for my insensitive response.

I completely agree with you. Having being close to the kid who passed away, and knowing the mom a little bit, I honestly can't believe she is doing this. Suing the university is going to accomplish nothing and bring back all the bad memories of that day. When I found out, all the sadness came back.
The worst part is, Clarkson doesn't need another scandal this year. Between the hockey scandal, and this -- it's definently going to make the incoming freshman class A LOT smaller and give the University a BAD reputation.
Suing accomplishes nothing in this case, and I hope it gets thrown out personally.
Lets hope things work out for the best.
