I was at the Philly Silver Stick tournament this past weekend wearing, as usual, my Clarkson Hockey hat, when a gentleman wearing a Clarkson T-shirt walked by. After the obligatory LGT, I mentioned that I was Class of '77 and asked when did he graduate.

Not quite. It was Mike Walsh's Dad. Great guy. We chatted for a few minutes about this and that and what it is like to be a goalie dad. Then he had a rink to run, so we parted.

They say the son is a reflection of the father. If so, Mike must be a teriffic young man.

Mike may all the pucks shot your way be as big as beach balls.
