Craig scored a goal tonite on LI, but got injured. I missed the game on the tube but here are the details of injury and game.

Well, Craig couldn't play because of the foot injury he suffered earlier in the week, but it was great to see him after the game and chat a bit...also with a few of his fellow Tech classmates.

Too bad he had to sit out the game as he always plays well at MSG and really has Mike Richter's number...Craig would look really good in a Rangers jersey! Seems he's a lot more recognizeable lately...quite a few fans asked "Mr. Conroy" for his autograph! :D

Which reminds me...I took my then 25 yr old niece to the game (her one and only NHL game ever) at the Garden 2 yrs ago when Calgary was in, introduced her to Craig afterwards, then asked her on the way out..."so how did you like the game'?

Her predictable response..."Craig is CUTE!"...:rolleyes:

Just talked to Craiger tonite....looks like the "2 wks" is up to 4 and counting. He didn't make the trip to NYC for the game at MSG, a place where he always scores. We'll miss him. :(

He hopes to be back on the ice skating soon but is unsure.

Hopefully he's back in time foir their visit to play the Devils next month!

It didnt sound real good when I talked with Craig Sunday. He says it still hurts whenever he tries to do anything...forget about skating!

They didnt miss him last night as the Rangers rolled over and died...and STUNK doing it.

Watching the Flames? Just keep your eye on Iginla...man is he quick! And Clarkie of course...:D
