Drury is a top-six forward, capable of being on the second line or even sliding into McAmmond's old spot with Conroy and Jarome Iginla. He's played all three forward positions, which makes a move to the No.-1 line a possibility.
"I didn't know he could do that. I like that idea," Conroy said.
"You couldn't have two better guys to play between. I'd like our line because every goal this guy (Drury) scores is a highlight reel goal and every goal Iggy scores is a highlight goal, too.
"I'll just move the puck and say, 'OK guys, have fun with it. I'll just meet you at the net.' "
However, Clark was hoping head coach Greg Gilbert would place him alongside his buddy, in an effort to make him more comfortable.
"That'd be nice," said Clark.
"I don't think we've ever played on the same line before. Throw that out there and get it into peoples' heads."
