CLARKSON ALUMNI WEEKEND!

I'll most likely be wearing a large tan fedora (Indiana Jones style hat) and carrying two cameras.

Yes, I was (but from the press box, with a bunch of WCKN alums).

So did anyone get to talk with Morris or Fogarty or Dexter or anyone in the know with the hockey program. How does the coaching staff look at the upcoming season and recruits? Any deflections over the summer?

I spoke with Mark a bit but not as mus=ch as usual. He and a lot of fth elocal alumni were attending the wedding of Steve Yiannoukas's daughter in Potsdam on Saturday and so they were not around until the evening. Plus we broke down on the way up so we did not arrive until Fri eve at 7.

I chatted some with Ron Fogarty and was rather impressed. He seems ready to take over the number one spot from Jimmy Roque. By the way, the annual season-in-review tape that the seniors do included a very nice "thank you" section to Jimmy. I think we will see how well the void left by his departure will be filled by Ron and Brad Dexter. Had only a quick chat with Brad...seems like a very nice guy and appeard confident.

In his comments, which were more brief than in prior years, Mark did not say too much about the upcoming season other than to introduce the incoming freshmen and Zach Schwan who is returning.

No defections that I am aware of. It was a great weekend as always!
