Does anyone know what is going on in the game? I can't get this IRC to work through my Firewall and the radio station doesn't work either!

Mel

You have to connect to www.weos.org. I had to follow the netscape links (even tho I use IE) to get the game.

Commentators: Jason Moy & Becky Blaser

Joe

So far 0-0 we had a couple of great chances on a PP but just missed.

So far, it seems like we're controllng play. Some real good chances on Dov Grumet-Morris (DGM).

Still zip-zip. Jason & Becky don't give time checks.

Mel... I hope so. I still can't get WEOS to work. I keep getting some javascript error. I'm not too happy with the Alma Mater, right now. Joe, thanks for the updates and please keep them coming.

McFeeters & Flapper matched up against Nowak & Kolarik. So far the Techers are winning the battle.

Harvard 1 -- Clarkson 0

Dominic Moore went top shelf over Walsh's shoulder. Goal came off a CCT turnover (Manzano) in the neutral zone.

No iea on the time. Not important to Jason.

Got a time call 3:37 left. Tech penalty. Edwards (Interference)

Flapper drives to net and Noah Welch drags him down with a hook. Now 4 on 4.

No time on that one.

Back to 5 on 5 less than 1:00 left. We're coming close, but no cigar.

Flurry in front of Walsh. Good cover.

The Harvard strategy (in the Globe today) was to beat the Clarkson forecheck. They figure that they are quicker than us and can give our defensive zone coverage fits.

The ECAC gets two if Cornell loses, otherwise one.

Good save by DGM on Flapper

LaTulippe tiptoes around Harvard defense and just misses a backhand

Play has been a bit sloppy. Both teams have had good chances off turnovers.

Off to pick up son @ lax practice. Will be watching NESN at home. Hope somebody else will keep you posted.

I don't know if it is worthwhile with only a few minutes to go in the game, but I did a search on Harvard Hockey and found www.fas.harvard.edu. the game is on their site over WHRB_FM

Thanks in advance!

6 minutes in. No penalties. Clarkson has a slight edge, but no great opportunities for either team.

Cavanaugh beats Walsh late in OT. 3-2 Harvard.

I was so frustrated watching the OT. While we had plenty of shots, most of them were from off angles and far out. Willie Mitchell ain't here, folks.

The game winner was a blown defensive assignment by Clarkson. Cavanaugh made a little move that beat his check and waltzed in alone on Walsh and beat him on the ice with a backhand.

YEESH!!!

Harvard's OT plan according to Ron Rolston was to get the puck into the Clarkson end and win the battles and get the game winner. That is what they did.

GAWD the chances we had in OT!!! One extra step, one more better pass, one more cutter to the net and we were in the finals against Cornell.

Congrats to the Cantabs. May they win tomorrow and get the ECAC a 2nd bid.

I saw the game on NESN...and that last replay about 6 times!!

Cavanagh, son of the Crimson AA JOE C, got away from Desrochers along the boards and drove hard to the net. Jean tried to tackle him and stick him from behind but the kid was strong, made a sweet move on Walshy...and it was in.

Defensive mistake...yes....a momentary lapse and that was all she wrote!

Didn't Carosa hit the post in OT?

:(
