It's a real long shot right now...but I think I might have a shot at geeting there for the Friday semi.
If not, at least I can watch the game on my buddy's DISH!

I know NESN is doing the Friday semis at 4 and 7, or is it 7:30?
And the Saturday final also. Not sure about Empire but I think so. It was posted on the cornell forum, I'll have to look.
In no way am I looking past Harvard...they are a team on a roll, like us, and very dangerous!
But I would love to see either a Tech-RIP or Tech-cornell final. Eiteher would be awesome and I'd probably be tempted to rearrange my Saturday...and totally infuriate my wife :D , and make the drive up for it!
Lets worry about Friday first...and I doubt I can get there for that one. :(

The band will be there in, hopefully, full force. Spring break starts that weekend but from what I've heard from the ranks is that we will be there with at least 25 and more like 30 instruments.
Looking foward to the weekend.

Ok, I really want to go down to Placid next weekend, but I don't know where I can stay. I have given serious thought to my car, but I think its gonna be a little cold for that. I have heard the JackRabbit is one of the cheapest places, but I looked online and they have a 3 night minimum for this weekend. Most of the other places do too. I'm looking for Friday night, and probably Saturday, though I might just drive home after the game. I'm a student and don't have too much money to shell out. Anyone have any ideas?

I have stayed at the "North Pole Inn" before and it is pretty nice...clean and everything....I believe that it is $50 a night, and that they have availabilty. But that was a couple of days ago. It is just about a 10 minute drive to the rink, so not too bad.
LET'S GO TECH!!!
I could actually see it being Dartmouth/Clarkson. Because as long as Dartmouth winsm they could beat Cornell. the only two times, I believe, that Cornell lost was to Dartmouth, both at home and away. So, that would be a good game. Although, it would be great to see Cornell and Clarkson play in the final (if they play like they did this weekend again on this upcoming friday).
Anyways, not to get ahead of myself, let's just hope the same team comes out again. LETS GO TECH!!! You definitly have the skill and talent to beat any of them

Chris-
Are you in Potsdam? It's only a 1hour drive or so (maybe less) when I was at Clarkson ('93) I drove to the 2 games. It wasn't that bad. Actually if you get another student or 2 to pool with you it can be kinda fun. You gotta go you'll love it and we need all the noise possible!1
See you there!

Hey Chuck,
which is the way you go driving from potsdam, when i lived around there, it always took me 1 hour and 1/2 to 2 hours....but i must be driving slow, or not going in the right and quickest direction.....

well it's been a while maybe it is over an hour... but for a college kid that's not too much of a road trip, is it?;)

In my experience, it's always been about 1-1/2 hours.
Sometimes, when going home (Oneonta, NY) from Clarkson, I'd cut across the Adirondacks (going through Placid), and drop down the Northway (I-87) to Albany before heading home. It never made my mother happy -- it added a good 90 minutes - 2 hours to what was normally a 3-1/2 - 4-hour drive -- but it was very beautiful, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :D

Scott,
Even at my "advanced age"...I'm class of '74....I find that it is always a good idea to keep one's mother happy! :D
So everybody, take the short route to LP!!! :D
