I figured I would get this started early because I can't sleep. Just a tie and 2nd place is ours. Only about 16 hours till the puck drops. Did everyone stick around last night and buy their playoff tickets? Looking more and more like a SLU v. Clarkson playoff. Tonight we will know for sure. The Knights continue to surprise and excite.

Dartmouth Big Green vs. Clarkson Golden Knights

Clarkson has clinched home ice. They will finish no lower than third in the ECAC. At this point, Clarkson can play Princton, Union, Yale, or SLU in the first round pending tonights results. By the end of the evening, we will know. If everything goes as planned (ha ha) with favorites (ha ha), Clarkson is predicted to play Princeton in the first round of the playoffs (we know how reliable that can be). Clarkson holds the tie breaker over Harvard. The combinations of what can happen this weekend have been beaten to death, so I won't rehash those things here. Basically,

Clarkson wins 2nd.
Clarkson loses 3rd.
Dartmouth wins 2nd.
Dartmouth loses, can go as low as 6th.

Talking with Morris. Streak continues with home ice. 14 years in a row?

Morris: we have scratched our way back into the picture. after last nights effort, we want to build on that energy.

Morris: says he had O'F and Poapst act as officials during practices so the rest of the team would realize that they would not be there for them this week.

Question about lineups since Poapst is back, and everyone was doing so well last night:
Sekelj: Works hard and inspires others by his work ethic. Has only been involved in 4 games this year.
Poapst: Discipline has been a problem for him all year.

Another shot off the faceoff and gloved by Gastroc. 4 shots by Knights already. Two of which were major. Faceoff won by Big Green.

Shot by Green. walsh save. another shot and a save by walsh. back in other direction and Knights are offsides.

Knights get it and a shot on goal, but nothing major. In front for Lush and Latullippe collide. batted out of zone by big green.

Last meeting, Dartmouth led the game with all three goals and Clarkson tied each goal. Ended 3-3. Whoever wins has 2nd. I love fatally decisive games.
