Canadian Hockey Players

The 1-1 weekend certainly didnt dwindle the spirit of the canadian hockey players. Several were seen driving around campus, out of sunrooves with canadian flags, after canada's olympic victory. Wish they cared enough to win for clarkson!:(

They are Canadian, and even though they are athletes they are in college. Not be a dick or anything but what if every time you do/did a stupid/crazy thing someone said, "Wish he cared that much about his tests." They're just showing some pride and probably blowing off some steam, and I'm pretty sure they care about wins for Clarkson.

I look at this as they are proud to be Canadian, and let them relax for once, and come together as a team.
I think that too many people criticize them (and other D1 teams) for having a life. What happens at the rink, should stay at the rink. there is a need for the boys to have a life too, otherwise, they will get run down and who wants their lives revolving COMPLETLY around hockey....

Besides, half of the team is from Canada.....
I say, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CANADIAN TEAM FOR PERSERVING!!!

What is wrong with the Canadian players being happy with the team Canada win at Salt Lake??

Not living in Potsdam and seeing the flag waving going on I would like to know if you are positive that it was only the Canadian players from the team that was involved??

Am I to believe that the only Canadians at Clarkson are hockey players??

So becuase Clarkson didn't have a stellar weekend, those guys should not celebrate the Canadian Olympic Victory? The two are not connected. I'm sure they care about winning and losing. They are not going to walk around depressed about everything because the season isn't going as well as they want. That was a pretty cheap shot to take at those players for being happy about the victory of their national hockey team and their dedication to their sport.

Congrats to the Canadian National Team for the gold and hope the Canadians on the team had a great time celebrating the victory. Hopefully come of that gold medal magic and pride will rub off this weekend. We could sure use a 4 point weekend. Go get em guys.

"use" a 4 point weekend is an understatement. To assure home ice I would think it necessary (pending other results of course). there is going to have to be a big effort, I don't think anyone wants to go into the post season on a completely sour note. Lake Placid is up in the air right now I would think. Everything is going to have to come together in a hurry. I'm sure the team will give it their best effort. Good Luck!!!!
