C'mon y'all!
What do you think? Especially about Saturday's game?
LETS GO TECH!!!
Here is hopin the team and coaching staff have more confidence than I do. The Colgate game is a MUST WIN. LGT. The Cornell game, here's hopin Stemmers streak of never witnessing live a Tech loss at Lynah remains in tact. That may take a miracle but hey Belarus did beat Sweden so anything is possible :) . LGT LGT LGT
I think Tech has the ability to walk out with 4 points. Eventhough it was a loss the Cornell game at Cheel was one of the better games Clarkson played. They looked pretty good. Another similar effort might have different results this time. As far as Colgate goes, who knows? They are a dangerous team right now. Hopefully they are still reeling from the heartbreaking loss to Dartmouth.

Well this is the battle of the CU's vs. Big Red and ex-Red. I originally predicted an oh-fer weekend.
CNY is notoriously our "Death Valley" road trip. I don't know why, but we just can't win at Starr Rink and Lynah is, well, Lynah.
I'm hoping for 2, praying for 4, expecting 0.
Going out on a limb and relying of faith...
Clarkson 4 Colgate 3
Cornell 4 Clarkson 0

I don't want to do any predictions because who knows what will happen this year:confused: :( . But I will say that I think we can expect another close game between CU and CU. Who will win...???? but a low scoring 2-1 1-0 or 2-0 game is what I expect. I hoping that maybe the late season run we all talk about and are used to will start this weekend and carry farther into the post season than usual;) ... Hey I'm a Patriots fan so don't tell me it can't happen:cool: .
LET'S GO TECH!!

I don't hold much hope for this weekend. I reckon we can get the win over the ex-Red Colgate whatevertheyarecallednow. But Cornell, well,...that's a toughy. I hope I am pleasantly surprised. If our guys can play a full 60 minutes of good hockey they can pull it off. Any letdowns at any level will be punished accordingly and quickly  LGT!!!

Joe, etal...
keep in mind that I'm undefeated at Lynah...the last visits were in .97 and '99...so we are due! :)
Good PP and PK , no dumb penalties...and a solid game from Walsh, and we have a good shot.
How about McFeeters and Desrochers show their stuff like they did as freshmen!!!!!! :D

Careful, Rich! That's the kind of thing I was thinking heading up for quarterfinals last year. You know how *that* turned out!
LET'S GO TECH!!!! Take it one period at a time!

Hey all, very good game tonight, especially by Walsh and the defense. I didn't think it was as exciting as the game in Potsdam, but both teams played better. Colgate was flat in the first. The first Clarkson goal was really good, he didn't have much angle on it, and it went in right under the crossbar. 'Gate had some good offense later in the game, but couldnt capitalize. Both goalies had some really good saves. The fight at the end looked bad at first, but I don't think anything came of it. Neither team started it from my point of view right in front of it. It was one of those things where there was a pile, and people just started shoving each other. Walsh looked like he was trying to leave the area, then got twisted up or tried to throw a punch, I'm not sure if a colgate player even touched him on the way down, he just got tripped up. He was fine, a little ****ed I think. One of the Clarkson guys actually looked ready to drop his gloves. I didn't get his number, cooler heads did prevail. Kyle Doyle of our team then skated back in the direction of the Clarkson players. And I'm thinking, oh no, here we go again... (hes our biggest hothead this year) He gets close to a Clarkson player, who squares up at him. Doyle kinda jolts up, surprised. Then I realize he's just going back to get his stick which was behind the net, but it looked to everyone as if a fight was gonna break out. Pretty funny actually. I didn't see the ref skate to the penalty box after it, and there was no announcement of any penalties. Everyone shook hands afterwards and a lot of them were on the ice chatting after the game. So it looks like everything is cool. Good game, the only drawback was both offenses looked a little predictable and both defenses were on top of thier game.

So has Cornell officially clinched the RS title?
And if so, does anyone think it will affect their play tonight?
I hope the Knights play tough again tonight, I'm sure Cornell's defense will still be tough.

cornell has clinched the regular season, vermont is eliminated (glad we don't have to face those spoilers in the playoffs this year.) I believe Clarkson can clinch home ice with one more win and a brown loss in the last three games. correct me if i'm wrong. hopefully we can get that win toknight. Better dead then red!

I think that it has already affected Cornell's play. The question in my mind is if they will be able to turn it back on in the playoffs.
