I'm a student at Clarkson and as a project for one of my classes I'm making a web site containing information on the ECAC teams from a fans perspective. Instead of focusing on the teams, it will present information for fans such as describing the rink/atmosphere, common cheers and chants, what to yell during player introductions, after a goal, for penalties, at the one minute mark of a period, at the end of a game that you win, etc. On the flip side I also want to have chants and cheers that you can use against other teams. If you have any information about your team or other teams can you either post here or email me at waldenbe@clarkson.edu. Pretend I know nothing about your team and tell me anything you can. You'll get credit on the site for any information that you submit. The site is purely for academic purposes for my web design class and won't ever be used commercially.
Thanks for all your help,
Brian Walden

Well, I don't think you're gonna learn much on here since we're mostly Clarkson fans, and you already know about that. I like the yelling of "knight" during the national anthem, the one minute to go cheer, the vaccuum, blackhole cheer, everything to do with making fun of the refs and slu(t), and well, pretty much everything, especially the cute flute player that sits in the front...lol.
On maybe a more helpful note, I live ten minutes a way from Dartmouth and have been to many games, they're now my 2nd favorite team. The rink is a big concrete box, very little atmosphere. Until recent success, hardly any fans went to the games, usually opting for basketball instead. There are no chants and cheers whatsoever. The band, on the rare occassion it shows up, is absolutely pathetic. Not much more to say about good 'ol Thompson arena.
I've also been to Gutterson, Lynah and Appleton, and, well, they all suck.

One of my friends back when I was in school used to always say "Yale is the sound you make when you throw up" I always liked that one but it never caught on. I guess it's kinda hard to chant that one! As far as other ecac chants... well I've been to Union many times and they don't seem to have any chants. They do yell "U" during the national anthem and they have "Let's go U" RPI... well there's a few of them on this board so I leave that up to them.
