You had to be at CCT in the mid 70's to see George play. One of the fastest gloves you ever saw. Letting in a goal never phased him.
Anyway, after graduation, George went to play in the Danish league - and stayed there, eventually getting Danish citizenship and, I believe, coaching the National Team for a few years.
Now his son, Patrick, is in net for the National Team at the Worlds. The Danes are in the relegation round, but beat Germany yesterday 3-1 (http://www.iihf.com/channels/iihf-world-championship-oc09/home/news/news-singleview-world-championship-2009/article/great-danes-dog-germany.html?tx_ttnews%5BbackPid%5D=2717&cHash=d9f2759542). Pat's stats are here (http://www.iihf.com/Hydra/player09/DEN/player.IHDEN11103198601.php).
