OK, my Mom (83) falls down at home on Friday and breaks her hip. So I drive up to NJ today (Rich beware!) and visit her in Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. BTW, she's fine. She got the Madonna treatment (A rod and a screw) in the hip and will be going to rehab later this week.

I go up to the front desk to get the visitor pass and they say that she's in the Cheel wing. Cheel wing? Yep! Our very own Helen Snell Cheel and her husband donated funds to build the wing. Nice portrait of her in the lobby - looks just like the one in the lobby of the Cheel Center.

Wierd, huh?

Glad to hear your Mom's ok. A-Rod and a screw....caught me off guard and I nearly spit all over the monitor :D. I believe the Cheel family is/was large philanthopists in No. Jersey.
