From CHN Link:
SECOND TEAM All-CHN
F Chad Kolarik, Sr., Michigan
F Chad Rau, Jr., Colorado College
F Pete MacArthur, Sr., Boston University
D Chay Genoway, So., North Dakota
D Grant Clitsome, Sr., Clarkson
G Jeff Zatkoff, Jr., Miami
I'm surprised no one else has picked this up, so I'm pleased to report Grant Clitsome was named College Hockey News All CHN (2nd) team, making him one of the top four defensemen in the country in their view!
It was listed in Wednesday's Boston Globe as 'Mens All-America Team (as selected by College Hockey News) but I'm not sure this is the 'real' All American team. At any rate a great honor for Grant to be placed in such high esteem.
Again, congratulations and thanks to all of our seniors for what they've done to promote Clarkson University.
And best of luck to Grant and Steve as they embark on their professional careers.

CONGRATULATIONS GRANT CLITSOME AND STEVE ZALEWSKI
It was announced today that Grant Clitsome has signed an NHL contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Grant will join their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, immediately.
It was also announced that Steve Zalewski has signed an NHL contract with the San Jose Sharks. Steve will join their affiliate team, the Worcester, Massachusetts Sharks immediately.

Don't you just love the fact that these two gentlemen stayed for their senior year of the Clarkson hockey season....instead of leaving when they were juniors? I honestly believe the Golden Knights advanced to the NCAA level of competition partly because of the integrity and innate hockey talent of Grant and Steve. I would expect after their seasons are over with the Syracuse Crunch and the Worcester Sharks both of them will be back at Clarkson to complete their degree requirements and graduate.
THANK YOU, GRANT AND STEVE, FOR YOUR COUNTLESS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CLARKSON HOCKEY PROGRAM. WE WISH YOU THE VERY BEST OF LUCK AS YOU EMBARK ON YOUR PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY CAREERS!

Good news for both Grant and Zeus. From watching the Blue Jackets this year, I believe we'll see Grant in Columbus in the not too far distant future.
It make take Steve a bit longer to crack the SJ lineup. Congratulations and best wishes to both and thanks for the years of work at Clarkson!
