From the pre-game radio conversation with Bob Ahlfeld and George Roll....some Golden Knights were not feeling well this week, but everyone is fine this evening....George feels the CU power play will take care of itself, with a little more practice.

Grant Clitsome just took a good shot on the net; he has really picked up his play lately.
Scott Freemen also took a shot on goal....he is skating on a line with Tim Marks.
David Leggio just stopped a deflected shot off a defenseman....good for you, David.

I just lost the feed momentarily. Just reconnected, I heard that Grant Clitsome has taken his third shot of the game, but the dartmouth goal tender made the save.:mad:

Dartmouth had a good opportunity to score, but the shot went up over the goal....good news.:)
After about ten minutes....the shots on goal are even at five apiece.

Steve Zalewski shot on goal, followed by David Cayer's turnaround shot.....too bad they both missed.:mad:
Cross checking called against Dartmouth.....Clarkson power play follows.
Dartmouth took a couple of shots on goal....they missed too.

Matt Beca is hit into the boards.
Steve Zalewski takes another shot on goal....guess what? He missed.:mad:
A good chance for Shea Guthrie of Clarkson, but he could not put the puck in the net.
A Dartmouth player visits the penalty box as Clarkson begins its second power play.
Wow, the Dartmouth goaltender grabbed the puck out of the air after it was shot by Grant Clitsome.
The Clarkson power play is over with about three minutes left in Period 1.

Dartmouth's first power play....CU's Dan Reed is called for holding....oh dear.
Oh my goodness, Dartmouth hit the goal post, but didn't score.
Period 1 ends with 45 seconds remaining on Dan Reed's penalty.
No one has scored for either team....but we didn't want anyone from little green to score anyway.
At the end of Period 1 in Cambridge.....SLU leads harvard 1 ~ 0.

Period 2 is underway...David Leggio makes an outstanding save and another one. That darn Dartmouth powerplay must be over by now.
Brandon DeFazio.....called for boarding and Dartmouth goes on another power play.
David Leggio in perfect position makes a great save....and one more.
How about a short-handed goal for the Golden Knights?

Matt Beca shoots on goal during the Dartmouth power play, then Dartmouth gets the puck and shoots it towards David Leggio. The next DC shot hit David Leggio in the face mask....how awful.
Two more good saves by David Leggio, and the DC power play finally ends.

A Dartmouth player is called for slashing, and Clarkson goes on its third power play....let's go techers!
Matt Beca and Grant Clitsome combine for a shot on goal; then Dartmouth gets the puck and shoots twice at David Leggio.
The CU power play is over BUT Dartmouth goes in on a two on one and scores......what rotten luck.
Dartmouth 1 Clarkson 0 .... with 10 minutes left in Period 2.

Dartmouth just took five consecutive shots on David Leggio, finally Steve Zalewski gets the puck out of the zone.
Nick Dodge nearly tipped the puck into the net.
Dartmouth nows sends one of their players into the sin bin.....
Clarkson had some good chances.....but they didn't.
Chris D'Alvise nearly scored, but after a couple of chances, the DC goaltender covered up the darn puck.
The CU power play is over.

Clarkson won the faceoff, and Dan Tuttle shot on goal. Ty Mason shot off the outside of the net.
Each team has 22 shots on goal; we are near the end of Period 2.

Nick Dodge had a chance in front of Mike Devine, but couldn't score.
Dartmouth is winning the loose pucks now.
Dartmouth is outshooting Clarkson now 28 ~ 24.

Tyrell Mason's shot was deflected over the goal.
Chris D'Alvise shoots....no rebound....no goal either.
Branden DeFazio took a shot on goal.....to no avail though.
Clarkson had the odd man rush, but they were called offsides.

Three good shots go astray for Clarkson.
Matt Beca had a great chance to score.

Shea Guthrie went in alone and took a shot on the net, but Mike Devine stopped the shot and allowed no rebounds. Another good shot by Nick Dodge.
Oh dear, I just took a telephone call, and I think Dartmouth scored....bummer as Dartmouth took the lead 2 ~ 1.

David Leggio is pulled out of the net....three seconds later, one of those little green creatures scored into an empty net.
Clarkson loses 3 ~ 1......what an unforeseen disappointment...and that's all folks.
