First McFetters Now Jones

Man, what the he$$ is going on. First a knee injury to McFetters and now USCHOL reports Jones suffered a knee injury. Any thing in the papers about how serious this one is. He was the best player on the ice both knights this weekend according to ahfeld and bartells call of the games. Seems like he played every other shift and was the only defenseman that could carry the puck out of the zone. We need this like we need another you knbow what :(.

Seems like cornell passed that injury bug they had for a few seasons on to us!!

Or is our conditioning lacking? How could Colgate dominate us the last 25 minutes?? :confused:

Nothing in the papers about Jones yet, probably Monday or Tuesday (They usually have more than the Sunday paper about the weekend's games:confused: )
McFeeters out 4-6 weeks, may as well be the season, now Jones:mad:
Hopefully the Jones injury will not be as serious. Watching him on the ice, you could see his confidence grow, he wasn't as quick to get rid of the puck, was more physical, was more composed under pressure, just a real steady defensive defenseman.

This season seems to be taking a turn for the worse. This really is going downhill fast. The Offense needs to show up and show up in a hurry, there is no time to let it return gradually. Throw it at the net and CRASH CRASH CRASH. Get back to the basics, don't worry about the pretty goal, just worry about ANY goals.

Anyone know why Syroczynski did not play Saturday? I had been impressed with him. He worked hard and was impossible to get out of the front of the net. I thought they should park him there on the power play. Guess thats why I'm not the coach;)

This week's slu game is at the same time the best and worse for this team. If you cant get up for THIS game, pack it in!!!

That could give us a huge lift with a great performance.

The other possibilty is that a lousy game crushes their spirit and we play out the string after that.

I'm staying positive!!! The Seniors need to step up and LEAD THIS TEAM!!!! Both ON and OFF the ice!

it was a horrible weekend for clarkson, one point at home is not acceptable. not sure how serious Jones is, but about 15 minutes after he left the ice I turned around in my seat and saw him hobbling by me in street clothes.......on another note, congratulations to the patriots, what a game....SUPERBOWL TIME!!!

Tomorrow knight's game can be a turning point -- positive if the tough get going and someone (anyone) steps up......negative if not!
Hope springs eternal and I anticipate a 4-3 win to get it turned around!!!!
