Hey Clarksy, got any snow out there in Chicago?
The weathermen are saying anywhere from 2 -3 feet coming my way in the Berkshires of W. Mass. I'll believe it when I see it!
How about everyone else, how much snow out there?

Started about 15 minutes ago just outside NYC, I think this one is coming from the southwest, Chuck.

Started here in Cortland NY (1/2 south of Syracuse) about half an hour ago - about five hours later than they said it would. Still talking about totals between 2-3 feet here. At least we're not in the lake effect belt - that's supposed to pick back up again this weekend.

Well, I got up this morning expecting 8-10" overnight as predicted, but found only 2-3". It's snowing quite heavily now, blizzard conditions really, and they're still predicting up to 30" by Thursday. Is the NC getting any of this? When do the teams travel up there, cause the CD is getting the same as me? Could be an interesting bus ride for the visitors!

We had about 9" by 6am, and added a couple more by noon. Looks like the NC will be getting some of this too since this storm is coming up from the south. Between Utica and Albany is supposed to get the worst of it.

Albany and Oneonta are well and truly buried. I was sent home from work at lunchtime.
According to a post on the Clarkson Open Source Institute mailing list, Clarkson itself also closed (!) -- can anyone up there confirm?

It's true, for the first time in at least 8 years they canceled classes at 3pm today.
We ended up with about 15 inches, maybe a little more in the Finger Lakes. I'm kinda anxious to drive up 81 this weekend and snap some photos of the 11 foot snow banks on the Tug Hill.

I'd say we had about 14" total - the snow is done now and the stars are out. Lots better than those poor folks east and northeast of here (I just saw over 40" in some spots) and the 2-3 feet they were talking about.
Good luck to all those who truly got burried.

Well the snow event is all over. My town, Savoy, hit the "jackpot" (according to WAMC) with the most snow in MA with 19". A good storm, yes, but not the 30+" they were talking about. Now the wind has picked up, re-burying my yard with 20" drifts:( .

It has been constant snow here in Buffalo for the last 30 days. I think it has snowed everyday at our house for the last 30. Still, only about 2 feet piled up outside.
