Steve Zalewski went across the line with one of the badgers, but Steve couldn't score.

Lake Superior won the first game and penalties arent being called because the ECACHL refs, under the stupid mandate by Hagwell to go overboard with interference calls, aren't working this game!

they did, i heard it on the radio. SLU had a flurry in OT and BU players knocked the net loose on purpose to avoid a goal. Alex Dell gave SLU the penalty shot.

Period 1 ends with a Clarkson lead of 1 ~ zero over the badgers.

I believe Shawn Weller has at least one family member out there in Wisconsin, and Shawn has played a very strong first period.

It is so much nicer to have the lead at the end of the period rather than dealing with the alternative.

Period 2 is underway.

David Leggio made a great save, and the net was off its moorings as a badger stuffed the puck into the net.....no goal, of course.

This next time, the badgers nearly scored a real goal. Thank you, David Leggio.

David Cayer shot from the point and then followed up with his own rebound....almost a goal. Good work from linemates Brodie and Nick.

Wow, Mike Grenzy is interferred with by a badger, and the Golden Knights go on the power play again....their second power play of the knight.

The Golden Knights have the second best power play in the country....I didn't know that.

But, the puck took a strange bounce, and two badgers went over the line together. Mike Sullivan took a penalty, and according to Bob, it was a good penalty to take.

Oh no, those badgers scored on their first power play of the knight. David Leggio did not have much of a chance to prevent the goal....a well executed play by wisconsin.

Oh dear, Grant Clitsome is given a penalty for interference. Clarkson will play two men down for forty some odd seconds.

Well, now some bad news, the little badgers just scored their second goal.

Those little pesty badgers rang a shot off the crossbar. I think Nick is in the penalty box. The feed is not very good, as there is a lot of background noise.

Matching minors....Grant Clitsome for interference and a little badger is punished too.

David Leggio is knocked down a second time, but he continues to make some excellent saves.

It appears that the badgers are out of control. One of them hit Shea Guthrie three times on his head.

At 17:33, Shea received two two-minute penalties; I think his opponent also received the same number of penalty minutes.

They will play against Lake Superior State University...tomorrow at 5 PM Eastern time. If my memory serves me correctly, I think that LSSU is rated #18 in the nation......the Golden Knights are rated #15.

A great game against the Badgers -- just what the Knights needed to start into the tough part of the season. Of course the Badgers will use the WJC as their excuse for a rather poor performance toKnight. I got back late - was Elliot in goal for the Badgers??? If so - most goals scored against him this season!!!
Way to go Knights..... Sink the Lakers tomorrow!!!! LGT!!!!
