I'm meeting a friend from northern NH who is a Dartmouth alum at the game on Friday. After the Big Green win at Cornell and Clarkson's sweep this weekend it should be interesting. Any predictions. I've got several cold ones riding on Tech victory...
Well with McFetter's out it will certainly make things more difficult. Just hope Latulippe is back in the lineup. I think special teams will be the deciding factor in this one. If we play smart and not take any dumb penalities we can win this game. However, McFetters in the lineup really made Poapst and O'Flaherty better. Got to get someone on that line that will get the puck to those 2 for scoring chances. And I absolutely love this kid Syroczynski. He really makes our power play more effective by taking punishment in front of the nets and creating havoc there. Kind of like George Parros of Princeton. I think we will need 3 or 4 goals to beat Dartmouth even though Mike Walsh is probably playing his best right now.

Did you see the beating Syroczynski took in front of the net to allow that PP goal against RIP? The ref wasn't calling a penalty but #17 was really pounding in on him, took his attention off of the puck and the rest of the play to allow for a goal. All Syroczynski had to say in the paper was "I'm big I can take it, I like it" Wow I like this kid!
Anyway I'm a little nervous about DU this weekend. Tech's away record is terrible this year. And without McFeeters (Cartilage injury according to Watertown Times) and Latulippe(??). Well we do have good depth this year. The bench seems to have the ability to step up and do their part. We shall see.
The special teams weren't too bad this weekend. No PP goals allowed and 2 of 4 friday night. Not sure how many oppurtunities on Sat. but no PP goals right?
LET'S GO TECH!!!!!!!!

i've grown up watching dartmouth, college by the way, not university. As long as Walshie continues his strong play Tech should be alright. Dartmouth has some goaltending issues this year, starter could be Boucher or GAstrock, and the way i've seen them play twice this year, it shouldnt' be too much trouble scoring.

"dartmouth, college by the way, not university"
Thanks Chris I was just coming back to edit my post because I realized that Dartmouth was DC not DU (like ducks unlimited)
I hope your right about scoring this weekend. Dartmouth was impressive winning AT Lynah friday, but then they lost to a rather poor Colgate team Saturday night. I guess as usual in the EZAC there's enough parity from top to bottom to not count any night as a gimmie.
Syroczynski is just what the team needed, A big man who can stay in front of the net and take whatever they throw at him. He works incredibly hard, has looked better and more confident in each game, and improves the PP ( a big concern for the Knights). I am betting he is going to be getting more and more points as we go.
McFeeters being out sure does hurt. I see the Watertown paper was saying cartilage, Saturday Cheel rumors were saying ACL injury. Hopefully it isn't career threatening and he will fully recover. Good Luck to him. I personally am thinking of Blight to put on that line. He played with them some in the Union game and looked good. Hard worker, likes to crash the net and put away the rebounds. He to is looking better and better in each game.
Jones and Scuderi are looking more steady and confident on the blueline, good to see and Walsh certainly seems to have turned a corner. Even with the McFeeters injury, Clarkson has the potential to finish strong.
I am saying 4-2 over Dartmouth with an ENG
and 5-1 over UVM and Walsh laying out a couple of would be net crashers:D :D

That's right. I forgot about that one. It's payback time come Saturday in the Gutt. Too bad that a$$ Mink is no longer with the team. I think he was the guy that ran Walsh and give him the concussion and stitches. Might be better that he is not there or we might see the whole team in the penalty box :).
