Isn't Brown the most expensive school in the nation? I usually say "If someone know they don't have future in hockey, good for them if they just decide to be a student..." but I imagine he had some type of scholarship help with Brown. I thought they cost somewhere are $50,000 per year. It must be a tough decision saying "no" to the money.

Keep in mind, Brown is an Ivy so he's probably not leaving an athletic scholarship behind.

I can never keep straight who has scholarships and who doesn't. So..

IVY = NO SCHOLARSHIPS?

No ATHLETIC scholarships - but lots of other ways to move money to students - monetary need, academic excellence, work program, etc., etc. If his decision to quit hockey and remain in school costs him at all, They're (Brown is) cheating!!!!

It would not be the first time Brown was caught, if I recall correctly.

yep, just read that Joe. Didn't he play at Tenafly HS? And then where? "Expelled" is pretty strong language. He must have had putrid grades to get booted.
