Were you one who could not get on the Clarkson website last knight? If so, that is probably because the little red ones had clogged up our website with their own people.....nasty aren't they? And then they insulted Josh and Bob about their broadcasting....on their own forum eLynah. I don't think they know about this particular site though on Scott's Roundtable. And a very good evening to you as well. I did manage to get on without issue to listen. I was at the little red vs. Tech the last three years at Cornell. (I grew up about 15 miles away from Ithaca and actually am distantly related to Ezra Cornell, but I'm a Tech grad and there is no doubt where my loyalties are.

It looks like Jon Marshall will replace Brodie Rutherglen and if Grant Clitsome cannot play, then Adam Bellows will replace him. Jeff Genovy is out of the lineup with a neck injury....he will be missed again toknight.

George said that we need to go to the net early...stay focused and not be intimidated. Game coming up momentarily.

Grant Clitsome did skate in the warmups, but he decided he could not play toknight (because of an injury) so Adam Bellows is in the lineup. Adam has been playing quite a bit this season.

With only 8 seconds left in the power play, those little red creatures scored. David Leggio made the initial save, but then he could not prevent the puck from going into the net.

Here are some comments from the post-game show. Gary and Bob selected Chris Brekelmans as the Golden Knight of the Knight. Chris, playing injured, exemplified the heart and soul of the Golden Knights. They also credited David Leggio's fine performance in goal. David made 105 saves in the two games against Cornell. (I get tired just thinking of all that work.)

The post-game interview was with Coach Greg Drechsel. Greg said.....we are awfully proud of our kids...we competed very hard, but we got into penalty problems. Due to three major injuries, (which prevented Jeff, Chris, and Grant from playing,) our better players had to play more often. The local newspaper this morning reported that Chris D'Alvise left the game in the second period due to a hip injury. David Leggio gave us a chance to win both nights. We hope to be in a position next year where we will not have to travel for the quarterfinals. Greg gave credit to Jeff Genovy who really played well this year and to Chris Brekelmans who was a great captain as well as a great leader for the Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights ended this season with 18 wins, 17 losses, and 3 ties. This is Clarkson's first winning record since the 2001 ~ 2002 season wnen their record was 17 wins, 15 losses, and 6 ties.
