Jay Latulippe?

For those of you in/near Potsdam: how is Jay Latulippe doing? I heard about the crosscheck, and that he was taken to the hospital.

(And what was that ref thinking, only giving a 2-minute minor?!)

I haven't heard anything on the radio or seen anything in the paper other than what I posted last night. He was able to walk out of Cheel under his own power when he was headed to the hospital. A big postive I would think, but no definitive word on what happened from that point.

To the Meryhurst coach'e credit, he kept #2 (I can't remember his name) who cross checked LaTullippe out of the majority of the rest of the game. Punishment, or just trying to diffuse a potentially volatile situation, I don't know. Either way, Give him credit, it was their asst. captain. the game seemed to turn at this point. The scoring started and Clarkson took clear control of the game. Mercyhurst had come out with a little jump in their step early on, but after this it just evaporated.

Has there been any word on Latulippe? I haven't heard anything since the day after the game. Will he be playing this weekend? If he's out do we know for how long?

The last I heard is that he will not be able to go on Friday. Have to wait and see I guess.
