CLARKSON at Dartmouth 2/24

Just trying to get a pre-game chatter going. Dartmouth the only team to shutout the knights at home this year, Dartmouth has been playing much better than early on in the year, also by many, a preseason favorite to win the ECACHL. We are going to have to stay out of the box and play disciplined defense......I expect special teams will play a huge factor.......and of course LET'S GO TECH!!!!!!

It appears that David Leggio has regained his composure after Dartmouth scored its first (and hopefully last) goal. David has made some good saves since that early goal at 1:42 of the first period.

No doubt. I like the way Roll does not hesitate to pull the goalie for the extra attacker. A loss by 10 goals or 1 goal is still a loss. Might as well pull out all the stops. Other than SLU, there is no one I hate to lose to more than the little green. It makes me physically ill.

Well, it looks as if there are other UPSETS in the ECAC this evening, in addition to Clarkson's loss to little green.

Harvard defeated SLU 3 ~ 2....I think that was the score.

RPI is leading little red 2 ~ 0

Colgate is leading Union 2 ~ 0.....that's not an upset in my opinion.

BTW...Dartmouth's questionable goal 68 seconds into Period 3 was a major turning point against the Golden Knights. With a Dartmouth player in the crease, and the goal being allowed, the tide was turning in favor of the little green.

The final score does not really indicate that Clarkson played pretty well for two periods anyway.

Roll was not happy with the play of the KNIGHTS toknight. He said they were not closing gaps and that is fatal against players like Jones. He also expressed his displeasure with some of the questionable goals by little green.

But let's be truly honest....it was Hanson or Hansen....either way, he is a horrible referee and always seems to have it in for Clarkson.

I would rather tear myself in half than cheer against the Clarkson Golden Knights!:eek:

Whatever SLU does has always been secondary to what is best for the Golden Knights.

Naturally, I wouldn't want those SLUzer fans to forget that Clarkson defeated the saints twice in January and lost only once to them.:cool:
