(continuing a conversation in the Yale & Brown @ Clarkson thread...)
OK, I knew I wasn't making up the part about the three games at the "Malone Branch" when discussing the approaching Game 2000. I broke out my copy of A Clarkson Mosaic, and right there on page 696 it shows the 1-2-0 record coach Gratton amassed that "season." Page 256 says, "Clarkson students at Malone had many student activities just as Clarkson students on the Potsdam Campus. It had...baseball, basketball and hockey teams, and the Numerals Club to serve as the sports letterman's club on the Malone campus."
Its the last sentence that makes me think Malone actually had varsity sports, including hockey.
