View Full Version : Clarkson secures home ice.
With Clarkson's win they have 20 points.
RPI tied so they have 15.
Princeton lost in OT, they have 14.
Yale lost to St. Lawrence, they're at 14.
So more hockey at Cheel!

Ok that locks me in for a visit , see you in the madstop 3/4.

Quinnipiac tied so they have 15.
Princeton lost in OT, they have 14.
Yale lost to St. Lawrence, they're at 14.

Fixed your post. We are tied with RPI for 7th with 20 points but lose the tie breaker since they have a win and tie against us. So officially we have 8th sewn up. With a LOT OF LUCK we could end up as high as 5th.
Clarkson and SLU have to Sweep Hahvad
Clarkson has to beat Dartmouth.
Union has to get no more than 1 point against Cornell and Colgate.
RPI has to get no more than 3 points against Cornell and Colgate.
It's certainly doable. Actually I think the toughest part of all of this scenario is Clarkson getting the 4 points especially beating Dartmouth at Hanover. We beat Hahvad at Cheel so I think we can take them in Boston. There is a good chance Union and RPI get little or no points against Central NY. SLU has the game if they show up to beat Hahvad.

Thanks for the quick fix. The race is definitely for 5th right now. I have a feeling the 5-8 teams all want a piece of Brown in the first round in particular, so fifth place is even more important this year than in the past. Yale, Princeton and Quinnipiac are all tough teams that have taken wins from the top of the league. Everyone would probably like to avoid them as much as possible.
Clarkson plays very well in Bright year after year, I suspect a good showing there in front of a pretty good visiting fan base. Dartmouth seems like the wild card to me. Of course I can say that with pretty much every team in the league this year right?
