Based on their performances this year, nothing but glowing reports on Guthrie and Mason.

I believe Paquet's contribution has been better than this poorly researched piece

Genovy's breakout season has improved his outlook, as he heads the Blue Jackets prospects (http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article.php?sid=8268&mode=threaded&order=0); as well as a synopsis of Clitsome's development

From the Islander's Piece

A smart, coachable player who displays a high level of maturity both on and off the ice, Guthrie has the potential to become a very complete performer at the collegiate level rather quickly. He should be a key player and leader for the Golden Knights for the foreseeable future.

YES!!! Of course.......that really means nothing, but we can dream right?

that seemed to sum him up pretty well. He hasn't been 'great' this year. he's just a freshman and may do better next year. Clitsome didn't really light the league on fire last year either. And he DOES have way too many pen minutes.

It is more like his (Paquet) penalties are effecting Clarkson's fortune.

Does anyone get the feeling that no one will be leaving early?

With the work stoppage and subsequent log jam of talent in the minor leagues I dont think we'll see anyone jump ship this summer.

At least I hope not.

Zalewski (http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article.php?sid=8350&mode=threaded&order=0)

I think he's awfully hard on himself," Roll said. "His expectations are awfully high, and sometimes the more pressure you put on yourself the tougher it is. He doesn't have that self-confidence in a lot of situations that he should have, because he does have the ability to be very effective at our level and the next level."

Great job, Mike, in locating this information for Clarkson fans.

It really brought a smile to my face to read the article about Shawn Weller...."controlling his emotions has been a work in progress this season for Shawn".

To my knowledge, Nick Dodge has not yet been drafted by any NHL team. But someone mentioned that Nick would probably be placed in that situation when the draft is held in June. Whichever NHL team selects Nick will be very smart to make that choice.

Naturally, it is my sincere hope that none of our Golden Knights leave Clarkson until after their graduation.

I am still amazed that one of SLU's Assistant Captains, John Zeiler, has left the team and withdrawn from the university....with graduation for him only a few months away. Something dreadful must have occurred.

Thanks again, Mike.:)

This is hearsay, but from what I heard it had something to do with Zeiler's family and an illness... past that I don't know anything, and it's just a rumor, but it certainly didn't sound good.

Discipline....I like his edge and effort, but he needs to keep his wits about him.

Do you think they shake up the Weller Zalewski Guthrie line with the new recruits coming in?

Mike....another great piece of information from you. I loved the sentence, "Shawn also possesses strong skating ability and with a developing goal-scoring touch could be primed for a true breakout in his junior year."

Clarkson fans would be delighted with such a breakout too. I honestly believe there will be continual improvement this year as Shawn matures and adjusts to the varied aspects college hockey. It seems like his raw talent has been refined and rechanneled this season....with the result of additional goals being scored.

On another note, I found it interesting that both Yale and RPI are looking for new head coaches.....two out of twelve teams in the ECAC. I'm glad we have the three great coaches we have at Clarkson.

KNOW NO LIMITS, CLARKSON GOLDEN KNIGHTS.:)

Yep...as we say, "play on the edge, but not over it!"

Have to see who fits best with whom when practice starts next Fall.
