4 points would have been great.....3 points not bad.
I am thrilled that we only gave up two goals all weekend.
We need to sustain the effort.

Just got home. So was this a good tie or a bad one?
Good tie. Dekanich made some nice saves. Clarkson pretty much dominated the OT, just that Dekanich was just a little better.
Probably our best weekend all year.
Leggio played well enough this weekend that George is going to go with him until........
Hope he stays hot!!!!
LGT!!!!

Yep, in the post game interview George said it was his job to lose. Leggio seems to have a much better glove than McNulty, and now he seems to have a little swagger going and we can use it.

Okay, folks, in regard to Captain Chris's comments, I feel he was happy with the work ethic exhibited by his team this past weekend. I don't feel anyone would be happy with less than four points this coming weekend. Speaking of Chris, he hit those Cornell and Colgate players like a bulldozer.....terrific body checks and great defensive moves.
Both Colgate and Cornell are very good hockey teams, ranked first and second in the ECAC, so to be able to take three out of four points from them this weekend was a dynamic accomplishment. If you don't agree, then please consider our losses the past two months. It was a joy to watch the Golden Knights play with such stamina and determination. They followed the guidelines their coaches had stressed all week. Congratutulations to Shawn Weller for scoring Clarkson's only goal against Colgate with help from Nick Dodge and David Cayer.
And kudos to David Leggio, who was absolutely stingy about allowing goals this weekend.....only a total of two goals in 125 minutes of hockey. He definitely should be considered for the ECAC Goaltender of the Week.
Today we reside in 8th place with 16 points and four games left to play...two at Cheel, one at Dartmouth, and one at Harvard.
YES, OUR TOP PRIORITY IS HOME-ICE ADVANTAGE FOR MARCH 3 AND 4.
