Sounded like a good effort tonight.

The good:

Walsh's shut out. Congrats Mike.
Syroczynski's first collegiate goal. Congrats Matt.
Blights goal. Congrats Chris

The not so good:

0-10 on the PP. Man when is our power play going to get going.

A win is a win. Good effort by Walsh to stay focused with very little action, but very inconsistent effort from Clarkson. They came out flying, but at points actually seemed to be "playing down" to the competition. Mercyhurst looked HORRIBLE. Other than the goalie, they had nothing. Maybe they were just having a bad night.
The fact the Clarkson did not win this game by 5 or 6 goals with the way Mercyhurst was playing was a dissapointment to many people there. If they can't score more than 2 against the Mercyhurst team that showed up last night, they are in trouble. They did get some really good chances, but they need to start burying them.

Hopefully tonight they put it all together and bury the chances they get.
