So the auction is set for 2/18 after the Brown game, not the Cornell/Colgate weekend which was rumored. It was also rumored that we did not have to be present for the auction, which appears NOT to be the case.....bummer.

And the minimum starting bid is $150. I had not heard anything further about this auction until it appeared on the Clarkson hockey website. If I learn any other details, I will keep you all apprised.

I understand that the team is leaving this morning for their longest road trip of the season first to CT for the game against Quinnipiac on Friday and then on to NJ for Saturday knight game against Princeton.

NO MORE LOSSES PLEASE, CLARKSON GOLDEN KNIGHTS.:)

Well, we are planning on going up for the Cornell/Colgate weekend and I had thought about sticking around to bid on the jersey's. I'm a little disappointed, but with a starting bid of $150, I probably wouldn't have been able to get that by the CFO (otherwise known as my wife:p ).

It seems to me that there'll be more fans (out of towners and locals) at the Cornell-Colgate weekend. My feeling is that there'd be opportunity to generate more revenue that weekend. Oh well good luck bidding to those who take part!

Goldie, are you making the trip down to the Garden State? I didn't see a response from you so I'm guessing you're not coming.

We're bummed. :(

Come on down...make our day! We'll show you some New Joisey hospitality! :D

Rich,

I kept hoping, against hope, I could persuade my wonderful husband to drive me all the way down to New Jersey, stopping along the way in Connecticut, to see both Clarkson games this weekend. Thank you for your thoughtful invitation, BUT, perhaps we can see all of you Clarkson folks in Albany later in March. Unfortunately, we are staying home this weekend. But rest assured, the games will be our top priority, and cheering for the Golden Knights is at the pinnacle of my weekend activities.

I do hope all you great Clarkson fans bring the Golden Knights good luck.....both at Quinnipiac and at Princeton. Have a great time, and I'll be thinking of you. By the way, who are the lucky ones going to the games?

LET'S GO TECHERS.....ON TO TWO VICTORIES THIS WEEKEND.:)

Let's see now Chuck. When I was in biz school, I think I learned that the CFO reported to the CEO. And Ralph Kramden taught me that "a man is the King of his Castle"...so whay can't you get your jersey? :p

But I do know what you mean.

Hope to see you in Albany. :D

Goldie, sorry to hear you aren't making the trip south to warm rainy New Jersey stopping off in warm, rainy CT on the way.

I think we have about 80 people in the NJ alumni group attending at Princeton tomorrow plus a whole lot more who no doubt got their tix directly from PU. We'll try to make a lotta noise so that your radio rattles up there in the North Country.

Not sure how many are attending the game at the Q although I know Mr. Cool will be there tonight. Myself, I have a HS game tonight to coach with an added twist. One of the guys I coach with is a new teacher who is a fairly recent Quinnipiac grad. I think he and I will have a little pre-game chat. And hopefully, a very pleasant (for me :D ) post game chat. That is, AFTER the HS kids make us both smile! :)

Nope...it didn't although we did dominate the first 5 mins and led 1-0. But HS hockey is a 45 min game.

And then the call to the Green Machine made for a very long ride home.
