Clarkson going on the PK.
Give Bellows an assist on the goal.
Weller breaks in. And D'Alvise is knocked down, and shaken. Clarkson headed on the power play. D'Alvise is up. Hope he is ok.

Let's keep tally of how many times Bob calls RIT, RPI.
So far its 1.5
D'Alvise back on the ice, the powerplay continues.

Gobe, are you heading up to Ottawa tomorrow?
Brett Gobe
01-06-2006, 08:26 PM
Powerplay over. Leggio makes a nice stop on a 2 on 1. RIT takes a bad penalty as they run Leggio after the play. Clarkson back on the powerplay.
A Ton's ad?! Nice.

Gobe, are you heading up to Ottawa tomorrow?
Unfortunatly no. I'm on call for work. You?
I'll be there for sure in 3 weeks.
10 to play in the first. D'Alvise with a chance. Clarkson with 22 seconds of 5 on 3.

Unless I get REALLY motivated and decide to drive up there by myself, then no. I thought I had people together to do the trip, but it fell apart at the last minute.
Sounds like Clarkson needs to settle down a bit.
And as I say that, Cayer bangs one in (PP). 2-0 Clarkson.
Brett Gobe
01-06-2006, 08:30 PM
That was quick as Guthrie hooks a man. 4 on 4 for a minute and change. Now a call on RIT. Clarkson back on the powerplay.
Cayer cleans up the trash.
2-0 Clarkson

Plus it sounds a little dead up there with it still being break and all. I think the Corel Center will be fuller than people expect tomorrow. Oh well. I think the home and home are gonna be pretty insane.
Cayer (6) from Dodge and Sullivan PPG
Short RIT powerplay, Genovy with a smart move to clear and kill time. Powerplay over. And with 6:18 Cayer takes a hooking call. RIT on the powerplay.

I seriously have never looked forward to hockey as much as I want to see the home-and-home. I'm taking that Friday off and going up Thursday night. I might try tailgating in Cheel (either the parking lot or the building, doesn't matter).
Sounds like the Knights are playing their game tonight. It would be nice if we could stay out of the box a bit more, but otherwise can't complain about too much so far.

I'll be up Friday around 330. I'll be with the band, you know where to find me. You going to Appleton?

Yeah, we've got tickets in section F already (the first time we were smart enough to call ahead when they went on sale). All we need to do is figure out a way to get to Appleton and we're all set (driving's out of the question).
By 3:30 on Friday I fully intend to be less than sober. Which means it'll probably be Club 99 time.

You're not kidding about the trap game aspect. Really excited that the team seems to be playing well tonight. A nice, convincing win here is almost necessary here to set the tone for the rest of the season (I hate to say things like that because of the jinx implications, but I believe it to be true).

I think it's absolutly true. This is the type of game that if they came out flat in that period and have to spend alot of energy in the next two catching up, it has major reprecussions for tomorrow and the rest of the ECAC schedule, which isnt very kind in January with SLU 3 times and Colgate and Cornell on the road.
Got to come out just a strong in this period as the last. Hopefully theyll get a quick one and then go for the kill.
I'll buy you a beer in 99, cause I'm a big spender like that. :D

Brett Gobe

Scratch that. Guthrie took a major penalty for a hit from behind. Looks like 5 and a game misconduct so he will be availible tomorrow. But that was a dumb dum dumb mistake. Clarkson on the kill.
Papa Smurf
01-06-2006, 10:15 PM
D'Alvise with the shorty! 4-2 Tech.
Still killing off the 5 min major on Guthrie. Sounds like he'll be around tomorrow at least.
Brett Gobe
01-06-2006, 10:16 PM

Assist to Paquet.
What an odd game.
