My family and I went to a Springfield Falcons (AHL) the other night to ease the withdrawl from college hockey. They were playing the Saint John Flames. The roster showed the flames as having a player named Phillipe Roy (he was a scratch the night of the game I went to). Is this our Phillipe Roy? He doesn't seem to have much game time according to the roster. Is he injured or just not playing? Any info anyone??
Also isn't the GM or owner or something of the Springfield Falcons a Clarkson Grad? I don't know his name but I thought I read that in one of CU's publications.
By the way the AHL game didn't help our withdrawl. The crowd didn't seem to know much about hockey and most of them were too drunk to care. My wife says she'll never go to a professional hockey game again.

Not sure about Phillipe...have to check.

Wayne LaChance '70 is the guy in Springfield...part owner I think...not sure. Wayne played on the NCAA runnerup team in '70.

Came across Phillipe Roy's name on the roster of Johnstown in the ECHL. Other alums in the ECHL include Dan Murphy at Trenton (league leader in wins), J.F. Houle at New Orleans (team's leading scorer), and Dave Seitz and Buddy Wallace at South Carolina.

He is having success as well. Finish 4th in Hockey East, hosted 1/4 Finals, went to Finals, and had 2nd seed in NCAA. Could he be the next head coach for CLK?
