The game has begun. Jay Latulippe is playing, but Nick Dodge is not.
Our Pep Band is providing its great music, and many Clarkson fans are there to support the team.
No score half-way through the first period. Harvard is blasting the puck repeatedly at Dustin, but Dustin is playing tough.

A backbreaking short-handed goal by Harvard, after stealing the puck from one of our freshmen defensemen. BOO

Harvard is ranked ninth in the country and is on a six-game winning streak. They also have six NHL draft choices. There must be something else wonderful about this Harvard team?

David Cayer had a good shot on goal.
Nick Dodge is dearly missed on the face offs. He is winning over 50% of the face offs he takes.

The Golden Knights are certainly trying hard, but Harvard is playing better with a lot of talent.
Shawn Weller had a great shot on goal, but Grumet Morris stopped it.
11:15 remains in the third period. It doesn't look good for earning any points toknight.

The Clarkson coaches were very happy with the way the Golden Knights skated in practice this afternoon. BUT, Harvard is a very tough opponent, especially playing at home.

Dear Mr. Cool,
We are in the Tampa, FL, area. Where are you in Florida? I hope you are enjoying this lovely spring-like weather here. It is nice to be somewhere somewhat removed from the North Country and the sadness of losing to Harvard last night. That loss was downright dismal and depressing. It must be such a downer for the team and their coaches. I do think, though, that when things start to go wrong, this team cannot just pull itself back together. That is exactly what happened last weekend at Dartmouth. Between Dartmouth and Harvard, we had ten goals scored against us, and we have scored just one goal in two games. What a dreadful situation.
Dear Vic,
You mentioned you were surprised that Princeton beat Dartmouth last night. Well, the way Princeton played against us, I was amazed how good they were. On any given night, that Princeton team could defeat anyone in the ECAC.
I feel so sorry for the Golden Knights and equally sorry for all of their ever-faithful fans. I still believe without Matt Nickerson, the Golden Knights will not be able to reach the level they attained last season. But, I would love to be wrong about that.
The team is probably now in Providence, Rhode Island and just waiting to
BEAT THE BROWN BEARS TOKNIGHT! :)

Hiya Goldie,
I am in sunny Siesta Key, Sarasota. About an hour south of Tampa. The weather is gorgeous......just got off the beach with my two little ones. Waiting for reinforcements to arrive ( wife flies in today) never have them out number ya! :D
Just spoke to my mother in Westchester county ....she said it was cold and expecting snow......she said she is on her way down here too.
Now for the important stuff......
Gotta beat brown tonite.....2 points out of this weekend would not be bad at all.
